Russian-Style New Year Celebration at INRTU
INRTU held a festival for international students to introduce Russian traditions and rituals of New Year celebrations. Foreign students from Asia, Africa and Europe sang traditional songs and recite poetry in their native languages and Russian as their foreign language. They also prepared dances and performances. IRNITU won a grant from the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation in the amount of 3 million rubles for the implementation of the project "Creation of online Russian language courses within the framework of the Center for Open Education "Middle of the Earth" of the Baikal BRICS Institute." 147 applications were submitted for the competitive selection within the framework of the events of the state program "Development of Education", Irkutsk Polytechnic University was among 67 winners. view details

IRNITU has completed work on the creation of massive open online Russian language courses that tell about Eastern Siberia, the city of Irkutsk and the Irkutsk Polytechnic University. The courses are hosted on the digital platform of the Center for Open Education "Middle of the Earth", created in the Department of Humanities of the Baikal BRICS Institute with the support of the Ministry of Education. A digital platform of the Center for Open Education "Middle of the Earth" has been launched at IRNITU. The project was implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education in the Department of Humanities of the Baikal BRICS Institute. The Center's website contains 20 massive open online Russian language courses, which not only develop the communication skills of foreign students, but also represent the natural and cultural heritage of the Baikal region. view details
